The earth speaks through ancient minerals- Malachite from the Great Orme in Wales; Cassiterite from Polberro mine in St. Agnes, Cornwall-once vital to the Bronze Age.

In resonance with the previous week, a fairy ring appears…a circle of fungi & folklore, forming a talisman that invites us across a threshold into ancient magic.’

week 1…

A living necklace, grown from mycelium and sprouting mushrooms links the past with the present. A silver ring cast from the artists form using photogrammetry and digital animation, becomes a relic of our time. A portal…a QR code…opens an augmented reality dreamscape where sound artist Eden Grey conjures up an aural underworld. Many thanks to @victoriakinglondon for the work.
